You sign in through a secure in-app window that opens claude.ai directly. Your session stays inside the app's own sandboxed container — the app can't read your browser's cookies — and is used to query Anthropic's API directly from your Mac. Your credentials never touch a third-party server, there's no Klaude Fuel Gauge account to create, and we collect zero data of any kind.

Is it safe? Does it access my Claude account?
You sign in through a secure in-app window that opens claude.ai directly — the same login you'd use in a browser. Your session stays inside the app's own sandboxed container; because the app is sandboxed it can't read your browser's cookies, and nothing is sent to a third-party server. Which Claude plans are supported?
Claude Pro, Max 5×, and Max 20× are fully supported, including automatic tier detection. The Claude free plan does not use the 5-hour session quota system, so it is not compatible with Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage.
What if Anthropic changes or restricts their API?
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage is an unofficial tool — Anthropic could update or restrict access at any time. If that happens, we will push an update as quickly as possible. This is disclosed upfront in the app and on this website. Apple's standard refund policy applies if the app stops working through no fault of your own.
Can I get a refund?
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage is sold exclusively through the Apple Mac App Store. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple under their standard policy — visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 14 days of purchase.
