Analytics & Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visitor traffic (such as page views, referrers and general location). It is privacy-friendly: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across sites. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and may set cookies, sending this data to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Data Controller & Responsible Entity
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (including the Australian Privacy Principles), the data controller and APP entity responsible for personal information collected through this website is TeleCottage Computers Pty Ltd. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Contact enquiries: retained for up to 24 months after our last correspondence, then deleted.
- Website analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics is aggregate and anonymous — no personal data is stored or retained by us.
- reCAPTCHA: any data collected is handled by Google under its own retention policy.
Your Privacy Rights

App Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This section explains how Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage collects, uses, and safeguards your information. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage collects only the essential information required for the app to function. All data is stored exclusively on your Mac:
User-Provided Information:
- App settings and preferences
- Notification preferences
- Usage tracking configuration
Device Information:
- macOS version and device type
- App version
- Status of required system permissions
2. Required Permissions
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage may request the following macOS permissions for its core functionality:
- Notifications: To alert you when your Claude AI quota reaches defined thresholds.
- Background processing: To monitor quota usage while the app runs in the menu bar.
- Network access: To read your Claude AI usage data from Anthropic's service. No personal data is transmitted to us.
- Outgoing email (optional — Fuel Lock): Only if you enable Fuel Lock, the app sends a lock-attempt notification email through the SMTP mail server you configure, direct to the recipients you choose. It uses your own mail credentials (SMTP password stored in the macOS Keychain) and your own server — no email or data is routed through TeleCottage Computers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Providing and maintaining the app's quota-monitoring functionality.
- Delivering local notifications and threshold alerts.
- Personalising your experience based on your settings.
All processing occurs locally on your Mac. No usage data is transmitted to TeleCottage Computers Pty Ltd. The only outbound transmissions are to Anthropic's API (to read your usage) and — if you enable Fuel Lock — to the mail server you configure, to send lock-attempt notifications to recipients you choose. Nothing is routed through TeleCottage Computers.
4. Data Security
- All data is stored within the macOS app sandbox environment.
- Apple's security guidelines and sandboxing are implemented throughout.
- App data is isolated from other applications.
- We do not operate any external servers that store your usage data.

All processing occurs entirely on your Mac. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
6. Your Rights and Privacy Controls
You can manage all app data and permissions through the app's Settings panel and macOS System Settings. To remove all data, simply uninstall the app. No additional tools or external access are required.
7. Information Sharing
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage operates entirely on your device and does not share any information with third parties for our own purposes. The only outbound data leaving your device is user-directed: usage reads to Anthropic's API, and — if you enable Fuel Lock — lock-attempt emails sent through your own mail server to recipients you choose. We may also disclose information where required for legal compliance.
8. Mac App Store
Klaude Fuel Gauge - AI Usage is distributed exclusively through the Apple Mac App Store. Your purchase and download are subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Apple may collect certain information in connection with your App Store transaction in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
